Writing & Publishing 101: From Spark to Story

Stop Dreaming, Start Writing is a three-part workshop series designed to help writers move from idea to finished book. With most aspiring authors stalling due to lack of direction rather than talent, this series provides a clear, supportive roadmap for writers at any stage—from just starting out to polishing a manuscript.

Workshop 1: The Blueprint covers foundational skills, including document setup, point of view and tense, setting and world-building, and character development across genres.
Workshop 2: The Craft focuses on revision, offering constructive feedback, techniques for “show, don’t tell,” and effective editing strategies that preserve your unique voice.
Workshop 3: The Launch guides writers through the publishing process, from preparing a professional manuscript and understanding ISBNs to creating a compelling cover and blurb and navigating distribution.

Together, the series is designed to turn “someday” into a completed, publishable book.
