Learn About the significance about the Yule Log:
Explore the traditions and symbolism of the Yule log, which predates medieval times. We’ll discuss its connection to warmth, light and hope during the winter season.
Create Your Yule Log:
In this hands-on class, you’ll craft a beautiful Yule log with altar or fireplace sized ash logs. Using faux and natural elements such as: holly, pine, eucalyptus, oranges, cinnamon sticks, pine cones, ribbons and candles.. Each piece symbolizes protection, persistence of life, fertility, peace and eternal life. All supplies are included for a magickal, inspired creative experience.
Infuse Your Craft with Intention:
As you create your Yule log, you will be guided through a Yule blessing ritual to charge it with intentions of protection, guidance, and hope for the dark half of the year.
Take-Home Handout:
Each participant will receive a guide to the Yule log and the 12 nights of Yule, the history and folklore of both, and suggestions for incorporating your log into your home altars, release/protection rituals and seasonal magick.
Celebrate the turning of the season, honor your light, and craft a meaningful Yule log to welcome protection, and the return of the light on the longest night of the year into your home.
